On Thursday March 4, Don and I went to the transmitter site on Table Mountain to see if the problem occurring with our broadcast was on that end – which seemed likely at the time. Once we made it there on Don’s snowmobiles, we examined and re-aimed the microwave dish there. The signal was improved slightly, which was enough to restore most of the fidelity of our on-the-air signal. However, the signal intensity was still very low – there were obviously other problems: either there was a problem at the studio end, or there was a hardware failure somewhere.
